Fallen Tuxedo soldier laid to rest with full military honors

The somber sounds of bagpipes resonated in Goshen as family, friends and soldiers gave a final salute to an Army medic who died in Iraq.
Twenty-four bells tolled from the First Presbyterian Church Friday signifying the number of years Tuxedo native, Sergeant Jonathan Cadavero, lived. Cadavero died last week when the vehicle he was in was hit by a roadside bomb in Baghdad. Cadavero was laid to rest with full military honors. His flag-draped casket was carried by fellow soldiers preparing to take the soldier to his final resting place at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery.
Cadavero leaves behind his parents, sister and his wife of two months. She is also a soldier in Iraq and flew home for the ceremony. Cadavero?s sister says her brother will be remembered as a man with integrity, commitment and honor.
