Three Orange County businesses were destroyed Friday after an early morning fire.
The flames struck a liquor store, nail salon and driving school at about 4 a.m. in a strip mall on Little Britain Road in New Windsor. Fire officials say an electric sign perched atop the liquor store may have sparked the blaze.
The fire left behind a roof in shambles and shattered glass store fronts. Pieces of the charred and broken structure lay in piles on the ground after the blaze.
