Hundreds of Westchester taxpayers spoke about the county's proposed budget during a final public hearing at the Westchester County Center tonight.
County Executive Rob Astorino's proposed $2 billion budget plan includes a one-percent tax decrease and would cut hundreds of jobs, several social service programs and close mental health clinics.
The proposal also would give control of the Section 8 housing program to the state.
The budget is expected to be voted on tomorrow.
