A judge has declined to stop the construction of the Ramapo baseball stadium after a local group filed a lawsuit to try and stop its completion.
The Preserve Ramapo group said the financial cost doesn't make sense for Ramapo.
Robert Rhodes, the head of the group, argued he expected the town would lose $2.5 million a year because of the project.
Voters defeated a referendum last year to guarantee $16.5 million in bonds for the construction.
The stadium is expected to open in June.
