Starting today, New York is set to relax its COVID-19 restrictions on dancing at weddings and other catered events.
This means the removal of the so-called "dance zones."
Before, guests were allowed to dance only with their immediate party, household or family seated at the same table.
But now, the dance zone guidance will be replaced with required social distancing and masks.
Also starting today, catered events can resume at private homes above the gathering limit of 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors, but the events must be staffed by a professional, licensed caterer.
