Lincoln Medical Center honored News12 The Bronx for its continuing coverage and dedication to health issues affecting residents.
The hospital?s auxiliary volunteers hosted a gala event Friday to help raise money for patient programs. The programs include preventative care, support groups and outreach. News12 The Bronx was recognized by the hospital for its coverage of health and quality of life issues affecting the borough. The news director says the hospital and News12 share a common goal, both work to serve the community. Doctors and staff members say the media is an important tool in keeping Bronx residents healthy.
News12 The Bronx and Lincoln Medical Center hope to continue their relationship to help the quality of life for residents. The hospital is celebrating 167 years of serving the needs of patients.
