A man suspected of breaking into a home in Morris Park was arrested after the tenant of the house chased him down.
Police say 22-year-old old Jozef Prenaj broke into a basement apartment of a house on Hone Avenue on July 17 at around 1 p.m.
They say Prenaj climbed inside not knowing the tenant was home.
Police say Prenaj turned around and left when he came face to face with tenant Henry Ruiz, a retired detective who was laying on his couch taking a nap.
Ruiz chased Prenaj and captured him with the help of two patrol members of the Morris Park Community Association, who happened to be in the area.
Prenaj is charged with burglary and trespassing.
