Mayor Bloomberg's (R-NYC) congestion pricing plan could mean two more Metro-North stations in the Bronx. The revenue from the mayor's plan would possibly be used to open stations in Co-op City and Parkchester. Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-NYC) says he is supporting the plan because it's forward-thinking and the mayor has said the Bronx is known for being under-served by public transportation.Under Bloomberg's congestion pricing plan, drivers headed south of 86th Street in Manhattan would be charged $8 during certain hours on weekdays. The mayor says the plan would generate $30 billion for transportation infrastructure improvements.
