New York state
troopers are now expected to be equipped with body cameras by the fall.
The move is part of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's order from last year
mandating all troopers wear body cams.
The rollout
process begins this month in Albany.
Troopers must
record video in a number of situations, including when using force or making an
arrest.
Cameras will
automatically roll anytime a trooper un-holsters their firearm or stun gun.
