A road rage incident in Somers last week led to criminal charges against an NYPD detective.
John O'Connell, who lives in Patterson, is accused of pointing a loaded gun at three 16-year-olds on Route 6 while off duty, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office.
He has been temporarily suspended from the force.
O'Connell pleaded not guilty and is due back in court next week.
