Police have been closely watching a mother bear and her two cubs that have been wandering around Nanuet for the past three days.
The bears have been spotted in the area off Wesel Road.
Officials are concerned for the safety of both the residents and the bears, but say so far, the bears have not been aggressive at all.
Police have called in the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) in the hopes of capturing the bears and having them released back into the woods.
