18h agoA suspect has been arrested in an overnight hit-and-run in Bensonhurst that killed a woman.
Investigators say Elizabeth Perez, 60, was crossing the street when she was struck by an Acura TSX vehicle at Dahill Road and 63rd Street at 11:50 p.m.
Police say the driver, identified as 24-year-old Yerlin Garcia, crossed over the double yellow lines, hit Perez and drove off. Officers arrested Garcia minutes later.
Garcia is facing multiple charges, including leave the scene of a deadly accident and driving without a license.
