A bomb scare evacuated hundreds of students Monday morning at Newburgh Free Academy North, while several districtwide threats of gun violence are being investigated, according to New York State Police.
A parent sent News 12 exclusive video of the students standing across the street from the school.
The incident follows a social media threat Sunday showing what appears to be to firearms with the caption, "Temple is next."
News 12 obtained an edited photo of the threat on Sunday.
New Windsor police confirmed the image is under investigation Monday morning.
"We are investigating threatening social media posts to 'temple' which is believed to be Temple Hill and Heritage schools. We have police officers at [both locations] ," says Doss.
Parents posted the voicemail transcription to Instagram of a robocall sent out over the weekend.
All district schools remain open.
The threat follows others to district schools last week, which prompted a two-hour delay at the time.
So far, no arrests have been made
