A Bronx man is accused of accidentally shooting and killing his brother on Christmas. Police say 24-year-old Fidal Gonzales pulled out his gun to show it to his family, but accidentally shot his 28-year-old brother Jorge in the head. Sources tell News 12 The Bronx Gonzales tried covering up the shooting by calling police and saying a stray bullet came through the window. Sources say the brothers and some other people were having a party and drinking at the time. The sources say Fidal and Jorge got along great and Fidal would never intentionally hurt his brother. Jorge Gonzales was taken to Jacobi Hospital, but died while he was being treated. Gonzales is being charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
