Road closures have been announced as the City of Yonkers continues to pay final respects to Josephine Spano, the mayor's mother and matriarch of the Spano political family.

Valentine Street will close to traffic from Midland Avenue to Hayward Street and be used for parking on Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Additionally, no parking will be allowed on both sides of Yonkers Avenue from Midland Avenue to Sweetfield Circle.

Parking will be prohibited on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the northbound side of Riverdale Avenue from Ludlow Street to Herriot Street.
