Help is finally on the way to make voting easier for the elderly and disabled in Rockland. The Rockland Board of Elections is now providing handicap-accessible voting machines at several locations throughout the county. Five machines, which have audio and a special device for paralysis victims, will be available for the September primary and November election. Voters can use the new machines at town halls in Clarkstown, Haverstraw, Orangetown, Ramapo and at the Ambulance Hall in Suffern.
