Construction is beginning on the Scotland Hill Road bridge in Rockland County.

The bridge will be closed to all pedestrians and vehicle traffic until the project is complete, which won’t be until some time in the fall.

Detours will be in place to help residents find a new way around the area without needing to cross the bridge.
