A Spring Valley man is facing multiple charges after a shots-fired incident that endangered children in Rockland County.

Police say it happened Saturday night at 60 East Eckerson Road.

Andrew Alvarado-Jiminez, 20, allegedly fired a .22 caliber revolver at a parked vehicle, left the scene, then returned with an assault rifle and fired 20 more rounds.

Two bullets entered nearby apartments where children were playing, but no one was hurt.

Police recovered both weapons yesterday in water off Bowline Point Park in Haverstraw.

Alvarado-Jiminez is charged with criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
