Small businesses in the Hudson Valley and across the U.S. say they're worried about getting supplies for the holidays due to supply change shortages.
In Pelham, Patty Lambrew, the owner of popular bakery Patty Pops, says sales have been very good but is worried about not having ingredients to make her cakes.
She says because of supply chain shortage, essential items like milk, cream cheese and even Oreo cookies are hard to source.
Christina Chianese, who heads Pelham's Chamber of Commerce, is encouraging all consumers to shop locally at mom-and-pop establishments like Thrive - where the supply chain isn't likely to delay your gifts.
Tig and Peach also says it bought toys in advance.
