State to pave Route 9A in Elmsford after News 12 report on potholes

News 12 has learned that the state will be paving the roadway from Babbitt Court to around Warehouse Lane.

An update on a story News 12 told you about last month.
At that time, our team strapped a Go-Pro camera onto a News 12 car to check out the pothole problem on Route 9A in Elmsford--and we found plenty of potholes.

The situation was so bad, a resident started an online petition calling on the state to check out the road.
We have now learned that the state will be paving the roadway from Babbitt Court to around Warehouse Lane.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of October.
It's also part of a project along the roadway from Yonkers to Greenburgh to be completed in January.
