Here’s what you need to know:
  • It's very cold and mostly cloudy this morning with temperatures in the low to mid-20s. Watch for patchy ice on the sidewalks/side streets from last weekend's snowstorm.
  • Today will be cloudy, cold and calm with highs in the mid-30s. Light snow arrives after 10 p.m. through 4 a.m. Wednesday. 1-2" of snowfall is expected with isolated higher totals of 3" closer to the coast.
  • We catch a break between the storm on Wednesday afternoon where clouds stick around, and temperatures remain cold in the 30s. Wednesday night into Thursday morning will be a mess. This storm system will start off as snow around 9 p.m. and transition to a wintry mix around 11p.m. It will end as rain by Thursday morning around 7 a.m. Messy and slippery travel is expected Wednesday night into Thursday morning. A coating of snow, some ice and less than an inch of rainfall is likely. Stay tuned for updates.
  • Valentine's Day is dry, bright with a cold breeze. Highs in the mid-30s.
  • The third round of storms arrives this weekend. The timing is likely the second half of Saturday through Sunday. It's trending warmer, which means more rain than snow mix. Moderate to heavy rain is possible through Sunday. On the plus side, all of these storms are helping with the ongoing drought. The next drought monitor comes out on Thursday. Stay tuned for updates!
