Students
at a Croton Harmon elementary school raised money for a good
cause - and had fun while doing it.
The
annual fundraiser at Carrie Tompkins Elementary raised money for
the American Heart Association.
The
top earners for each grade were given the opportunity to put a pie in the face
of their teacher or a school administrator while being cheered on by the entire
school.
Nearly
150 students registered for the
challenge and raised $23,151.52, the most the school has raised in its six
years of participation.
