The State University of New York announced a plan today to help New York bounce back from the recession.
SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher outlined a multi-year strategic plan entitled "Power of SUNY."
Zimpher says the 64 institutions, 465,000 students and 88,000 faculty and staff members of SUNY will focus their efforts on making the state an economic powerhouse.
