yesterdayA Tarrytown man has been arrested in the sexual assault of a child from New Jersey.
Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella says Eric Palese, 27, has been charged of six counts of sexual assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of criminal sexual contact.
Authorities say they received information through their Cyber Tip line on March 27 about a possible assault.
They say an investigation found that Palese contacted the child via social media and then sexually assaulted the victim, who was under the age of 16 at the time, on more than one occasion in River Edge, New Jersey.
