There are growing concerns in the Hudson Valley as New York's eviction moratorium comes to an end tomorrow.
Many worry the end of the federal eviction moratorium will lead to increased suffering in low-income communities of color.
"There's gonna be tens of thousands of additional homeless people in Westchester. Our county only housed about 5,000 homeless people in 2019, and it cost the county $38 million to do that," says Tom Gabriel, CEO - United Way Westchester & Putnam counties.
Gov. Kathy Hochul says her team is working to address relief efforts for renters and homeowners.
