Another bomb threat was discovered Thursday at Felix Festa Middle School, the second at the school this week.
A student spotted a bomb threat message on a stall of the boy?s bathroom. The county bomb squad was called in and swept the building while students and staff stayed in their classrooms. Nothing was found.
On Tuesday, a similar message was found in a bathroom stall. That threat was for Friday. Because of both threats, school officials locked down the building after dismissal Thursday. All after-school and evening activities were canceled.
Clarkstown police say two bomb sniffing dogs will be brought into school around 5 a.m. Friday to search the entire building and make sure it's safe for students. If nothing is found the school will open on time.
Parents expressed concern, but said they were glad the school was taking action. Related InformationWestNyack school takes precautions amid bomb threat
