Nearly two dozen dogs from China saved from being slaughtered have been flown into Kennedy airport.
Families from across the tri-state area arrived Monday to meet their new four-legged friends.
They included a family from Westchester rocking shirts with their new pup's face!
Many of the dogs were saved at the very last moment. "He was in the back of the restaurant waiting to be slaughtered in the slaughter cage," says one rescuer.
But now, the dog is safe with his new family and has a new name – Mason.
