A White Plains nursing home is set to pay $45 million to settle claims of neglect and mistreatment.

Residents at Centers Health Care were reportedly subjected to awful conditions, including sitting in the own waste for hours.

The settlement will improve resident care, staffing and include court-appointed monitors for at least the next two years.
