Police have identified the elderly woman allegedly killed by a teenager in Ulster County.

Authorities say 88-year-old Elena Bonjolo was found dead Sunday outside an abandoned home in Saugerties.

Investigators say she suffered fatal injuries to her head and neck.

A 15-year-old has been charged with her murder and is currently being held in county jail.

Police say the suspect and the victim were neighbors and knew each other.

The investigation remains ongoing.
