Police arrested seven youths at an unoccupied house in Montebello after finding marijuana and prescription painkillers during a raid Friday.
Police say the house had recently been sold, but that the title had not changed hands yet. The suspects were all charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, but not breaking and entering because police say one of them was the son of the current owner.
Police say they received a tip that the house was being used as a hangout and set up the raid. The seven suspects range in age from 17 to 21 and were found with pot and vicodin. They are expected in court by the end of the month.
