Here are a few ways you can celebrate the holidays in NYC: 

Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree

You can visit and see the Christmas tree until early to mid-January. This year’s tree is a 79-foot Norway Spruce. Here's more information about how you can visit

The Rink at Rockefeller Center

Ice skating under the Christmas tree on The Rink at Rockefeller Center is one of New York’s quintessential winter activities. Click here to buy tickets.

Macy's Herald Square windows

Check out the decorated windows at Macy’s New York City flagship store. Families can meet Santa Claus at Macy's Santaland by reservation only. 

Holiday Shops at Bryant Park

The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park are open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m during the week, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Read more about the shops here.

Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park

Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is Manhattan’s winter wonderland. Enjoy New York City’s only free admission ice skating rink, the Holiday Shops, and rink side eats and drinks at The Lodge. Winter Village is open daily through March 5, 2023. Click here for more information.

Bronx Zoo Holiday Lights

The holiday lights display at the Bronx Zoo is back for 2022. It runs on select dates until Jan. 8, 2022. Light displays are spread across several acres of the zoo. Click here to purchase tickets, or learn more information.

New York Botanical Garden Holiday Train Show & NYBG GLOW

The New York Botanical Garden is once again presenting the Holiday Train Show! Marvel at model trains zipping through an enchanting display of famous New York landmarks. The display runs until Jan. 16, 2023.

Lightscape at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Times Square Holiday Show Globes

Times Square welcomed back the holiday "Show Globes" - a large snow globe display inspired by the designs of hit Broadway shows including Wicked, Ain’t Too Proud, The Lion King and Dear Evan Hansen. It's on display through Dec. 26.
