The husband of a woman who drove her car off a Bear Mountain cliff in Stony Point was apparently having an affair with another woman, according to published reports. Police say Victor Han knew his wife was suicidal, but still chose to take her and their young daughters on a drive up Bear Mountain on Wednesday. The family?s minivan later plunged off a cliff, killing 35-year-old Hejin Han. The children were also in the car, but were not seriously injured. Han was arraigned on suicide and endangerment charges early Friday. Han is being held at the Rockland County Jail on $75,000 bail. An autopsy shows his wife died from a spinal fracture. No ruling has been made whether her death was a suicide or a homicide.
