A two-alarm house fire in Monroe has left two people displaced.
The fire started Monday morning, shortly before 8 a.m., at a home on Cromwell Hill Road.
Orange County Fire Coordinator Vini Tankasali says it started in the garage area of the home and quickly spread.
He says no one was hurt, and that the adults living there were able to get out okay before firefighters arrived.
Volunteers from six area fire departments responded to knock down the blaze, according to Tankasali.
The cause remains under investigation.
