Orange County executive unveils proposed $923M budget for 2024
Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus has introduced his proposed budget for 2024, totaling $923 million.
The plan, unveiled at a meeting of the Orange County Association of Towns, Villages, and Cities, includes a proposed county tax rate of $2.34 per $1,000 of assessed valuation, marking the lowest tax rate in the county since the 1960s.
