With the three-day weekend looming, many are expected to be traveling this Labor Day weekend.
In anticipation of the increased number of commuters, Metro-North will be adding extra trains and police will be stepping up patrols on the road looking for speeders and drunk drivers.
With Hurricane Earl set to hit parts of the northeast, people traveling by plane should contact their carrier to check possible flights adjustments or cancellations.
