Piermont Village police say a car that ended up in the Hudson River last month was involved in multiple crimes in the lower Hudson Valley.

The village's police chief, however, would not release any details of the crimes as of Friday night.

As News 12 reported, a grey 2024 BMW X5 was recovered from the river on Jan. 28.

It was on Jan. 17 when police responded to reports of damage to the Ferry Road pier.

Tire marks were seen and vehicle parts were recovered.

Surveillance video shows the driver leaving the vehicle at the end of the pier and letting it roll into the Hudson River.

The driver has not been found.
