A Stamford woman who lives in a condominium says her faith in condominium associations is crumbling.
Janet Davis says the foundation of her condo is cracking and she can't get any answers about what to do from the board of directors who manage the place.
Davis saying the damage is a major safety hazard, and the price tag for fixing it is about $50,000.
"My insurance is not picking it up because that's what the association is supposed to pick up. As of today, deaf ears. I went to the association, I went to the president and I went to the city of Stamford, I went to the fire department -- city, fire department can't do anything for the simple fact is it's private property," she says.
Sen.Richard Blumenthal saying he's looking into the situation to see if he can help.
