A water main break in the village of Cornwall-on-Hudson prompted a boil water advisory on Monday.
Officials say a break occurred around 2 a.m. on Hudson Street, between First and Second streets.
Officials say that repair to the broken water main and isolation valve has been completed.
Because service was interrupted, officials say some residents on the nearly half-mile stretch of Hudson Street from the Cornwall Library to Academy Avenue will be under a boil water advisory for at least two to three days.
