A suspect has been arrested in Mexico in connection with a homicide that happened one year ago in Peekskill.

Walter Bustos-Solis was taken into custody last week in Puebla City and has since been extradited.

Authorities say Carlos Rodriguez died last June after suffering severe cuts to his lower body.

Bustos-Solis is now in the custody of the FBI and Peekskill police. He is scheduled to appear in federal court tomorrow.
